PAID SHOWS FOR ARTISTS WITH BOX OFFICE TICKETS




HOW IT WORKS

2ndLine is a platform where artists can host interactive digital events as a way to engage their fans online.  This video  http://vimeo.com/106203320 - explains our video screening service, and our digital listening parties are pretty much the same, but audio-only events.

Using our platform, an artist can easily schedule an event, create a custom page for it, upload their content, and manage the event.  During the event, they and their fans listen simultaneously, the artist hosting it provides live commentary through our text chat feature, and fans can ask questions and comment through text chat.

The event can be shaped to support each artist's current goals and objectives, be it to get feedback on work in progress, promote an upcoming album release, to do something special for bloggers and journalists, or to have fun with fans in a new setting.

WHAT IT COSTS

2ndLine shows are always free for the artists and take very little time or energy to host.

Each artist can choose from one of two pricing strategies for their event:  (1) set a fixed price that all participants pay; (2) allow participants to pay what they will based on a suggested price that the artist sets

We sell tickets through our box office, accept all major credit cards and PayPal, and use a secure state of the art processing system.  After the show, we subtract the payment processing fees and then pay the artist 2/3 of the profits from the show.  So, not only is it free to host a show, but the artist stands to make money from it.

In all cases, we can share email address information for the people who attended the event.


HOW TO PROMOTE

2ndLine always co-markets each show with the artist who is hosting it.  We post to our social media and send a blast to our email subscribers and encourage artists to do the same.  After all, the artist knows who their fans are and how best to reach them.  Usually, a few social media posts a week plus an email our two and a little direct-outreach does the trick.
